A bronze medalist joined an international athlete for a friendly Boccia match.Paralympian Dan Bentley faced Greek player George Gerakis for the practice game at Haverhill Leisure Centre on October 29.The pair were watched by children from across town, who jumped at the chance to see the sportsmen in action.James Purkiss, centre manager, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the children to watch two international athletes play Boccia here in Haverhill.”
