A DISABLED sportsman is celebrating being picked for England.
Chris Jackson, who plays a bowls game called boccia, is to represent his country at tournaments in Oslo and Prague.
“I’ve been playing the game since I was 10 years old,” said the 22-year-old, from Carrville, Durham City.
“It was always my dream to get into the national team, so I am delighted to be selected.”
