Schoolboy Seamus Morrison has today been taking on Lincoln Barclays staff and customers in a sports challenge to help fund his trip to the 2013 World Dwarf Games in the USA. Seamus, from Sutton-on-Trent, will represent Great Britain in boccia, a target ball sport like petanque and bowls, discus, javelin, shot put, swimming, football and table tennis. More than 80 countries will compete in Michigan in August – four times gold medallist swimmer Ellie Simmonds is a previous competitor in the games. Barclays has pledgd to double whatever is raised today during Seamus’s four-hour non-stop boccia challenge at the bank in Tritton Road.
